SUCCESSION PLANNING

There are many obstacles to navigate during a transition,
but getting succession right is critical to the long-term stability of a church and its mission.

Senior leaders often give little or no consideration to what will happen once they leave the organization. They sometimes think it’s too soon to begin planning for a transition that is still years down the road. But as the transition nears, a sense of anxiety grows. This is often due to lack of plans or direction.

By developing a thorough succession plan, leaders can have a sense of peace and assurance.

Time moves quickly and the right time to engage in succession planning is now. The more time and intentionality that is given to prepare and implement a transition plan, the greater the likelihood of success for all involved. More time allows for creativity, flexibility, and growth.

During your Succession Planning coaching, David Ashcraft will help you create a roadmap for your future and the future of your church.
